A silver sovereign penny of Henry VII. The obverse shows the king seated facing on a throne. The reverse has a royal shield, with the initials D and R to either side. This indicates that the penny was minted by Bishop Richard Fox in Durham between 1494 and 1501. The legend is largely missing from the coin.
