Copper alloy button. A hollow composite discoid uniform button. The front bears the stamped image of a cannon pointing left with a crown above. The back bears traces of a maker's back stamp and the stubs of a drawn wire loop. For the uniform of an artillery unit, possibly a Volunteer formation. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900.
