Copper alloy buckle. Cast sub-triangular frame with a greatly expanded lip whose sides converge towards a flat end, bearing a central groove serving as a pin rest. The strap bar is narrowed and offset with a small knop at either end. Suggested date: Medieval, 1250-1400
