Copper alloy clasp. Andrew Rogerson kindly identifies this object and comments: 'Variation on Read 2008 Class S early post-med double sharp-hooked clasp, cf. NMS-5EC424 & NMS-6DA7EFA'. A thick [0.9mm] sheet metal disc with what appears to be a double-ended sharply recurved hookattached to it by a rivet of head diameter 3mm and length 2.7mm passing through the centre of both components. The edges of the disc appear to have been cut in a series of short straight clips, and a regular series of four vertical lines are scored across its surface. The entire object retains traces of a black coating. The clasp element may have served for attachment, but the significance of the plate and its combination with the clasp are uncertain.
