An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval strap clasp, dating to AD 1270-1450. It consists of a sub-rectangular sheet of metal, which has been folded around the bar of the buckle frame; the fold has the sides slightly recessed. The buckle has largely been lost; there is only the pin bar surviving into the fold of the plate. The surfaces are heavily abraded and covered by a light green patina.
