Bent and incomplete pair of Early Saxon copper alloy tweezers, broken below missing loop, end of blade inturned. Decoration on the face consists of two groups of three engraved transverse lines set at both ends of chamfered sides on the upper part of the arm, below which the sides of the blades are bordered by multiple punched dots. Width, expands from 6mm at the break to 9mm at inturned terminal. Extant length (unbent) 50.5mm. 1.3mm thick. c.450-c.550 AD.
