A fragment of a copper alloy Roman bracelet, dating from AD 320-450. The fragment is rectangular shaped, and D shaped in cross section. There is a worn break at one end, the other is worn but is probably a terminal end. The fragment is slightly bent at a 45 degree angle. At both ends there are four incised collars. Near the worn end after the collars is an indented ring and dot. The rest of the bracelet is very worn, and it is possible there is more decoration. The reverse is undecorated. The bracelet has a dark green patina with brown and orange staining, and is 24.2mm in length, 5.7mm in width, and 1.8mm in thickness. It weighs 1.96g.
Similar to bracelets shown in Crummy 1995, page 46, figure 47.
