Roman copper alloy finger ring or bracelet fragment, 12mm in length, 1mm wide, with a weight of 0.70g.
The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section with a gently curved profile. It is decorated with an incised border 1.5mm from the edge and a central row of punched crescents with a chevron of the same punches overlaying. The object could be a finger ring fragment or perhaps part of a snake headed bracelet?
