A Roman copper alloy bracelet fragment, probably dating to c. AD 250-410. The fragment consists of a flat, parallel sided strip of copper alloy with a sub-trapezoidal terminal and with an old break at the other end. The terminal is decorated with five punched ring-and-dot motifs, filling the space, with a subsequent panel, defined by incised transverse lines, containing a single oblique line. Following these panels one edge of the bracelet is decorated with a series of punched dots, with the other edge divided into a series of trapezoidal panels, defined by indentations and olblique grooves, and each containing a ring-and-dot punch.

Dimensions: length 37.9mm; width 5.0mm; thickness 1.3mm; weight 1.11g.

cf. Crummy (1983: 42, 46) nos. 1704, 1724-1732.
