Copper alloy brooch fragment. Cast Hod Hill brooch fragment, Mackreth type HOD HILL 1.a. A T-shaped fragment comprising a tubular case and a narrower bow with a pronounced longitudinal central ridge, the two elements separated by a horizontal groove, and with lesser ridges at the turned up edges of a strip bow. Abraded. Suggested date: Early Roman, 50-75
