A section of a tri-facially worked flint chisel. It is narrow and rod-shaped, possibly a chisel form. One end may be the butt; the other has a flat break, from use of manufacture. One face shows scaled, low angle working struck from the edges, which is now slightly smoothed. The other two faces show larger broader flake removal scars. It has a triangular section and is slightly curvilinear along its length. There is some slight edge battering to blunt angles. The flint is opaque, mid grey with areas of lighter less siliceous flint, darker areas have a mid gloss patina.
Date: Late Neolithic to early Bronze Age 3300 - 1600 BC
