Copper alloy coin. Possibly an as of an indeterminate early Roman ruler, probably issue of 43-200, pierced with a drilled hole of diameter 2mm at 3 O'clock obverse.

Obverse description: head left. All other detail lost.

The piercing of Roman coins is usually ascribed to the early Anglo-Saxon period, though smaller and later issues were more often selected.
