A complete Neolithic flint implement, possibly a knife (c. 4000 BC-c. 2701 BC).
This implement, made on a tertiary flake, is 'D'-shaped in plan and is roughly pointed oval in cross-section. It has the remains of a striking platform and has been battered at the distal end. The dorsal face has been knapped overall and the left side has been retouched. The removals are long, scaled and low angled. The ventral face has a bulb of percussion and low relief ripples. The dorsal face has wear gloss but the retouched area does not have wear.
The implement is grey overall.
