A complete lead musket ball dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1800). The object is spherical is shape with a casting sprue in the upper hemisphere and a casting seam running around its circumference. The object has several pits but does not appear to have been fired.
There are a large number of similar objects recorded on the PAS database, inlcuding: SUR-A2A4A4; SWYOR-8E3D62; and SWYOR-1BE638.
The overall dimensions are as follows: 16.72mm in legnth, 15.68mm in diameter and 18.77g in weight.
