A flint bladelet dating from the late Mesolithic period, c.6300 to 4300 BC. The flint is a light grey colour, with patches of white, dark grey and orange brown. It is rectangular in shape, with parallel sides, and triangular in cross section. Tertiary flake, bulb of percussion low suggesting soft hammer. Weak ripple marks on the ventral face. At one end it is unclear if there is a large striking platform, or if this is a break. At the opposite end there is a hinge fracture. Little or no evidence of retouch. The flint measures 44.4mm in length, 12.7mm in width, 4.2mm in thickness and weighs 2.07g.
