A small Roman copper alloy nummus which has been cut from a larger coin of Magnentius (AD 350-353) dating to AD 352-353 (Reece Period 18). SAL[VS DD NN AVG ET CAES] reverse type depicting a large Chi-Rho. Uncertain mint.

The obverse displays the upper left portion of hair of the bare-headed bust with the legend [...]NEN[...]. The reverse carries the alpha and lower left portion of the Chi Rho with the legend SAL[...].
