An extremely rare uninscribed Scyphate Gallo Belgic Quarter Gold Stater. Similar to the Ingoldishthorpe type (Spinks ref. - 39A - 39B}. Also similar to the British variant O type (a derivative of the Gallo-Belgic D type) that is often attributed to the Durotriges (as in Hobbs catalogue ref. 415).

One other example very similar found at Snettisham. Ref John Allen, The Snettisham find, in Numismatic Chronicle, 6th series, vol VIII, 1984, p 234, no 13.
