A flint core fragment of probably late Neolithic to early Bronze Age date, about 3300 BC - 1000 BC. It is formed on patinated flint, a tertiary flake with a large void. It is a complex core, broadly oval in plan and triangular in cross-section. There are previous removal scars one face and both ends, struck from two platforms at right angles to each other. The products appear to have been a mixture of broad flakes and small blades. The core is 50.1mm long, 31.7mm wide and 16.9mm thick. 33.4g.
