A post medieval copper alloy "rose" farthing of Charles I (1625-1649) dating from 1636-1644. An example of North (1991:165) Type 1 no. 2287 A fragment, probably of baser metal, is missing at the eleven o'clock position. No visible initial mark, but probably a crescent.
