An incomplete (missing a piece of the flan) silver half groat of Henry VII (1485-1509) from the episcopal York mint under archbishop Savage, mm: martlet, dating to c.1501-07. North (1991) no.1716.

Obverse: facing double arched crowned bust with keys at neck, all within a double lined seven arched tressure with saltires on the cusps. Legend: HENRIC DI GRA REX AN[GL Z FR} Reverse: long cross with three pellets in each quarter. Inner legend: CIVI/TAS/EBO/RACI Outer legend: [POS]VI DEV ADIVTORE MEV.
