Pale grey flint with cortex, scraper. A thick flake with cortex trimmed by the removal of broad flakes, and with a bulbar ventral surface. Short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows a curved edge. A dense milky patina on all struck surfaces suggests the object has subsequently endured long exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC
