A complete flint Microlith of Mesolithic date (9000-3350 BC). The object is sub-triangular in plan and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface has three negative scars towards the distal end and retains cortex across the proximal end. Both ends taper to a point and all edges have fine semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is flat and retains a small bulb of percussion at the distal end with shallow ripples of percussion emanating from it. The lithic retains some cortex and is therefore a secondary flake.
The flint is a brown colour, with dark grey inclusions throughout. The cortex is light brown.
