Dark grey flint with cortex core. A round nodule fragment with broad and sometimes parallel flakes removed by probably unidirectional working from a broad and slightly convex striking platform. Light misty patina may suggest a subsequent period of exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC
