Flint scraper. A thick flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side by multangular hard hammer strike, and with a slightly undulating ventral surface. A flat side lies opposite a zone of battering on the curved edge, and presumably functioned as a butt. A dense creamy patina with orange staining overall may suggest the incorporation of the object in calcareous gravels after its deposition. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC.
