A copper alloy coin of the post-medieval period: a Scottish twopence, or 'turner' or bodle' of Charles I (AD 1625-1649), dating from AD 1642-50 (minted in the coinages of 1642, 1644, 1648, or 1650).
Obverse, crowned CR;
reverse, thistle.
