Incomplete cast copper alloy finger ring of probable Post Medieval date (AD 1500 – AD 1700). Length 22mm, maximum width 13.5mm and thickness of bezel 1.7mm. Weight 3.86g.

The bezel is oval in plan and has a shallow groove around its perimeter containing the capital letters I B. There is a six pointed star below the letters. The shoulders taper away from the bezel to form the hoop which is incomplete. The ring is slightly corroded although a mid-green patina survives over about 50% of the surfaces.
