Lithic implement, probably Early Neolithic, c 4,000-3,300 BC. A small piece of flint, mid-grey, opaque, with some surviving cortex, perhaps a core, with signs for flaking on both faces Two of the edges bear traces of heavy battering leaving a hackly surface. The flint may have been used as a strike-a-light but this is uncertain. An Early Neolithic date seems likely, supported by associated material. Length 32.9mm, Width 23.6mm, Thickness, 13.5mm, Mass 13.46g
