A complete flint Thumbnail Scraper of Neolithic date (3450-1500 BC). The lithic is sub-ovate in plan and bi-convex in section. The dorsal surface has invasive parallel flaking with the exception of the proximal end which has two hinged flake removals and a small amount of retained cortex in the mesal portion. All edges except the blunted proximal edge have some semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is slightly convex and has covering scaled flaking. The lithic retains a minor amount of cortex and is therefore a secondary flake.
The flint is dark grey in colour with some cream inclusions.
