Bronze Iron Age Terret ring c. AD50-150. The ring has a "saddle" type attachment bar set between two circular stops. Around the outer edge of the ring are 3 rounded knobs. Spratling (1972) identifies this as a Knobbed Terret (Group IX, sub-group A) dating from the late 1st century eo early 2nd century AD.
