An incomplete hammered silver penny, probably of Henry V (AD 1413 - AD 1422). Mint of London. The obverse has facing bust with a mullet and broken annulet either side with the legend HENRI[C R]EX ANGL. The reverse has a long cross with three pellets in each angle with the legend CIVITAS [LONDO]N. The coin is missing about 25% of the rim, due to breakage in antiquity. This is possibly Class C, mullet and broken annulet by crown, North 2000: 1396.
The coin is 17.15mm in diameter, 0.55mm in thickness, and weighs 0.7g.
