Medieval, cast copper alloy double loop buckle, c. AD 1270-1400. The frame is rectangular and the two loops separated by a plain bar, its section is triangular, with the more vertical edge on the inner side. A tapering, wrap-around type pin remains in place. Length 35.4mm, Width 22.9mm, Thickness 2.7mm, Mass 7.25g. In London buckles of this type were found in context dating from c. 1270-1400 (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, 97-99, Fig. 62). .
