The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section and consists of a ovoid shaped loop which has a D shaped cross section. The loop sits above a short tapering collar on a short circular cross sectioned shaft. This shaft passes through the centre of a rectangular block and terminates with a semi-spherical knop. The block houses the remains of two short circular sectioned bars which project from each side and would have formed the purse bar. The object fits Williams Class C1.
