Roman lead alloy steelyard weight, 45mm wide 40mm high and weighs 326 grams (11.46 oz).

The weight is sub ovoid in form and circular in cross section with the remains of an iron loop in its upper centre. It has a smaller triangular cross sectioned upper half and a well rounded larger lower half, starting with a rounded ridge.
