Post Medieval to Modern (c. 1650-1900) copper alloy wheel from a pastry jigger used to decorate the edges of pies and other baked foodstuffs. Each face of the disc bears radiating grooves, off-set on the two faces so that a zig-zag line was produced. Traces of staining suggest the use of a central, iron pin.
