Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 31mm in diameter, 10 mm thick with a weight of 43.41grams.

The whorl is circular in form and bi-conical in cross section. It is decorated on both faces, its very worn, but appears to be a border of circles and semi-circles along the edge on one face and a series of raised chevrons and dots on the other. The whorl has a central hole, 8mm in diameter. It fits Walton Rogers form C.
