The object has been moulded to form what appears to be a bunch of grapes with a tapering circular cross-sectioned arm extending from one side. The reverse is flat. This may be an individual mount or part of a larger architectural moulding. The tapering arm may have a break at its tip, but is too worn to be certain.
Because of its fragmentary and undiagnostic nature only a very broad Roman to post-medieval date range can be suggested.
