A large sub-triangular secondary flake of flint. The flint is opaque and mottled light to mid-grey and beige, now with thin low-gloss blue-white patination. Both faces show areas of reddish brown ferrous staining, mainly to ridges. An area of chalky nodular cortex remains on the left margin of the dorsal face. Part of the right margin of the dorsal face shows heavy, stepped edge-fracturing consistent with heavy-duty scraping; and dissimilar to edge damage on the remainder of the flake. Broad flake removal scars are visible across the dorsal face. The ventral face has a low bulb of percussion with a well-defined striking point.
