An Iron Age gold stater of the Catuvellauni, uninscribed British L, 'Middle Whaddon Chase, Big Wheel' type of the Eastern (North Thames) region; dating to the period c. 60-20 BC. Obverse: crossed wreaths, outline crescents back-to-back at centre. Reverse: horse right, wing motif above, wheel below. ABC (2010) no. 2442, BMC no. 331, VA 1487.

Measurements: 19.2mm in diameter, 5.55g in weight.
