A radiate coin of the breakaway Emperor Carausius (RIC 101?), minted in London. Carausius had declared himself Emperor of Britain and Gaul during the Crisis of the Third Century and held power for around seven years before being assassinated by Allectus.

Obverse:- Radiate crowned bust of Carausius facing right. Legend around '[...]RAVSIVS PF AV[G]'

Reverse:- Pax standing holding branch and sceptre. Legend '[PA]X AU[G]' visible 'O' in field.
