An extremely worn and illegible silver coin of Medieval to Post-Medieval date, of an uncertain monarch. The obverse and obverse legend are completely illegible. The reverse and reverse legend are completely illegible. Die axis is uncertain. Weight is 1.42g, diameter is 20.3mm, thickness is 0.4mm. Due to the thickness of the flan it is more likely that this coin was a hammered or struck coin rather than having been milled. Linear and curvilinear scratches are present on both sides of the flan.

The size of the flan is about right for a halfgroat of Edward III, AD 1327-1377, post-treaty period AD 1369-1377 onwards. Also Edward VI, AD 1547-1553 threepence.
