Conical or domed small pressed metal thimble with a plain basal zone with foot ring, with the larger part of the wall covered by machine-stamped circular pits which appear as if ascending the wall in diagonal lines. The top is occupied by a rectilinear grid of larger indentations. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900
