A cast copper alloy object of uncertain function, possibly relating to Medieval horse harness decoration. It is in the form of a long circular sectioned shaft, now bent at 90degrees with a broken terminal at one end and a cross at the other. The cross has a flat central area from which project the three arms, each ending in a globular terminal. The upper arm is longer than the two at the sides and has been bent to one side. The lower, fourth arm is formed from the shaft and is delineated by a rounded collar, similar to the knops.
