Two Neolithic flint arrowheads.
A1 Neolithic flint barbed-and-tanged arrowhead. Early Neolithic to early Bronze Age. Mid-grey opaque patina. Tertiary piece, fashioned on tiny bi-directional bladelet. Largely unmodified apart from a series of notches on both sides to form the simple shape and for hafting near the base. Length 24mm, width 8mm, thickness 4mm. Weight 0.6g.
A2 Neolithic flint arrowhead. Early Neolithic to early Bronze Age. Small arrowhead made on mid-grey translucent flint. Proximal end thinned for hafting and represents the base. Distal end has been abruptly retouched to from a sharp tip. Length 26mm, width 12mm, thickness 3mm. Weight 1.2g.
