A fragment of a copper-alloy unidentified object of unknown date, possible an openwork mount or fitting of some kind, probably medieval to post-medieval (c.1100-1900) in date. Rectangular in cross-section and curved in form with a straight edge along one side. An animal's head is depicted in profile with a beak or muzzle with an incised mouth or parting for a beak, an oval shaped eye and a curved, tapered neck which expands into a rectilinear plate with a straight, rectilinear edge. The curved plate is decorated with incised grooves delineating semi-circular form. The damaged end of the curved form has two transverse grooves. Recovered from the same find spot as PAS no. LIN-B7DEE2 and PAS no.LIN-B820C5
