Medieval copper alloy harness pendant, 29mm long, 15mm wide and 6mm thick with a weight of 3.30g.
The object is circular in form and rectangular in cross section and consists of a circular pendant with five small rectangular projections, the sixth one forms a suspension loop for an articulated sub rectangular belt fitting. This has a partial transverse loop attached to its upper edge and is plain. The pendant is decorated with wheel like spokes emerging from a central circular boss. each alternate triangular cell is decorated with red enamel, with possibly dark blue? in the others. The object has traces of tinning/silvering all over its surface..
