Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, hinged type brooch, 21mm long, 17mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 4.77g.
The brooch has circular cross sectioned, hollow wings and a semi-circular cross sectioned bow which is decorated with a series of short incised lines forming a band running down its centre. The brooch is worn and is missing its foot and its hinged pin.
