A cast copper-alloy uniface miniature Roman dagger, probably intended as a votive object. The object appears complete from blade to pommel, but is slightly distorted and forms a slow curve to the right when viewed from the upper, detailed side. The miniaturisation of objects is a common occurence in the Romano-British world, although Keirnan (2009) questions whether this shrinking takes place for economic reasons (of not wanting to destroy or waste a fully functioning object) or whether the act of rendering something in miniature itself is part of the ritual process.
