Fragment of a copper alloy Polden Hill type Roman brooch dating c 75-175AD. The brooch is incomplete, missing the pin, foot, and catchplate. The cylindrical wings are undecorated. Although they broaden slightly at the end. The iron pin survives. There are curving mouldings around the sides of the head. The bow is D-shaped in section. No decoration is now discernable on the corroded bow. Some of the original surface survives and has a mid-green patina.
