Description: The dish is very small and shallow with a simple undecorated rim, with a short pouring lip set along it. It has a simple plain base without a foot and clear striations from the potters wheel on the outside. The slip is orange-brown with a dull gloss. The internal core fabric isn't clearly visible but is hard with the inclusions within the fabric being sparse poorly sorted sub angular dark grey fleck to medium grit.

Measurements: 67.16mm long (with pouring lip) 62.55mm wide (rim diameter), 24.08mm high and 36.86g in weight.

Discussion: This object is a relaitvely modern diya lamp from the Indian sub-contient.
