A copper alloy disc, 20.8mm in diameter and slightly bent. One side has a central circular field, 10.5mm in diameter, within which are stamped four designs; a plume of three feathers, above an oval, possibly floral device, with beaded frame and flanking foliate forms and two small fleur-de-lis, one to either side. The reverse of the disc is blank and shows no traces of fittings; however the surface is extremely worn. Probably a post Medieval "dandy" button.
